Yin Yoga is a slow, passive and meditative style of practice where poses are held for extended periods, typically 3-10 minutes, Yin primarily targets the body's deep connective tissue, such as fascia ligaments and joints rather than muscles to improve overall flexibility mobility and joint health. Often props are used blankets, bolsters and blocks. Calms the mind through the required stillness acts as a deep mindfulness, meditation, reducing stress, anxiety, and mental health.
